Hydraulic Schematic for Rotation Circuit
Many attachments, including shears and grapples, require a double-acting circuit to
operate a rotation motor.
Typically, the rotation circuit will have relatively low flow and pressure requirements.
Frequently, this application requires a motor case drain line connected directly to the return circuit of the
carrier. In this schematic, a Priority Flow Control Valve is tee'd into the main
pressure line of the pump. When activated, an adjustable volume of
oil is routed to a directional valve, which directs oil to turn the rotation
motor in either direction.
